Book-Summary

The Belated Bachelor Party is about four friends, Happy, MP, Raamji, and Ravin. They were good friends in their college years and haven’t met since graduation. As life happened, they all got engrossed in their respective lives.

Now they are living their married lives and they realize that none of them had a bachelor party before their weddings. But its never too late for a friends reunion and for a belated bachelor party.

All four friends plan a belated bachelor party to Europe. On this Euro trip its obvious that they all had fun which but it ends up becoming their trip of a lifetime.

But, nothing goes as per their plan.

During their Euro Trip, they got stuck on some unknown island between Croatia and Slovenia, there is no evidence of a single person. They are waiting for the border police to strip-search them, without valid visas, but with banned party drugs and a rifle cartridge.

So, it’s a journey of a reunion and screwed up plans…

About the Author

Ravinder Singh was born in Burla, a small town of Odisha. He started his career as a software engineer. He had an eight-year-long IT career started with Infosys and ended in Microsoft, where he worked as a senior program manager before deciding to pursue writing full-time. He is also a fitness freak.

He published his first novel I Too Had a Love Story in 2008, after its success he never stopped, Until now he has written 7 fictions. He has also edited and compiled two crowd-sourced anthologies named Love Stories That Touched My Heart and Tell Me A Story.

He is very popular for his romantic novels.

Book Review

After reading this book I can say one thing that memories of the friendship are the best, it made me think about my college days and my friendship memories.

It’s a perfect amalgam of simple language, funny stories, friendship, trip, witty writing and much more. I’m pretty sure that after reading this book you’ll miss your friends.

At first, I got bored after reading 3 or 4 pages but once the book started its journey it became very interesting and funny at the same time. So the start of the book is a little bit shaky.

Kudos to Ravinder sir for giving equal justice to all 4 characters of the book – Ravin, Amardeep, Manpreet, and Harprit. Not only that but the author also shared screenshots of their chat and how they planned the whole reunion trip.

Ravinder Singh proved that he can write other types of books other than romance novels. But some of his hardcore fans will be disappointed because this isn’t a romance novel.

In the end, just go for it.

Now, I’ll take a leave and start making plans for my reunion trip… 😉😉😉
